 It is normally advisable, for the sake of credibility, to choose a name for the publisher that appears to have printed your book. This name (known as a publisher’s imprint) should be different from your own name and will appear on the publication page of your book.
You can choose any phrases or words for your publisher’s imprint name, however, please be careful not to use the name of an existing publisher.
Perhaps your publisher’s imprint name could be related to where you live, or an activity you enjoy, or even the name of a favourite pet.
Whatever name you create, it will give the impression that your book has been produced by an independent publisher rather than by yourself. |
